The EMF 6 is a precision, high input impedance, optically isolated data acquisition system for electrochemistry applications. It connects to a
USB port for presentation and storage of EMF data. Six half-cell inputs are compared to a single, buffered reference electrode.
The free software allows up to 6 channels of data to be scanned, graphed, and saved to the disk in real time. The EMF 6 is built around our
Model 302 24-bit A/D system. The DC specifications are much better than those of most pH meters. Linearity is 0.002% of full scale, input impedance
is 10^13 ohms, reproducibility is better than one part per million. BNC connectors are provided for the 6 inputs and for the reference electrode.
All inputs are protected against overvoltage. Three grounding choices are selectable via a front-panel switch. The sixth input channel can, as a
factory option, be reconfigured for a combination electrode with its own, separate reference. Further flexibility is provided through software configuration.
.
The combination of optical isolation, high resolution, and protected high impedance inputs makes the EMF 6 precise, but still rugged and reliable.
The EMF 6 is supplied as a complete multichannel electrode interface system including the interface box, Windows software, USB cable, and a
universal input power supply for international shipments.
